Visit Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns is the official Destination Management Organisation for the area. Our role is to ensure that Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns is a leading destination for tourism, culture and business.
We are a not-for-profit partnership working together to boost the visitor economy and support businesses in promoting Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns far and wide as a great destination to visit.
Our website - visitbuckinghamshire.org - is the most visited tourism website in the county, providing ideas and inspiration on the best places to visit, stay, eat and drink, including a variety of events that take place across the region all year round.
Our tourism business community is as diverse as you would expect in a county built on ingenuity and entrepreneurialism. As well as being blessed with some of the most visited National Trust properties in the county, such as Cliveden, Stowe, Waddesdon Manor and Hughenden, attractions like Bekonscot Model Village, Silverstone and Go Ape create a fun-filled destination for all types of visitor.
The landscape is diverse, from canals and the River Thames to the Chiltern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
We also have a very strong food and drink offering, with an abundance of award-winning restaurants, farm shops, breweries, vineyards and gin distilleries. We are also well served with a variety of very good accommodation and transport providers, all working together with Visit Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns.

Our Midsomer Tours were included in the Visit Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns Group Travel leaflet. Midsomer is a huge draw for group travel organisers and this meant that we benefited from Visit Buckinghamshire’s involvement in the Group Travel Show at the NEC. The team are proactive, enthusiastic and committed and are great ambassadors for attractions in Buckinghamshire and the surrounding area.Helen Johns - Thame Midsomer Tours
We would strongly recommend having a listing on the Visit Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns website. When people from out of county or overseas are looking to come to Buckinghamshire, ‘Visit Bucks’ is a very obvious search to enter. Furthermore, not only is it a very easy website to find, it has lots of content and recommendations on a variety of topics, in addition to an active presence on social media. The team are amazing, extremely professional and helpful. I highly recommend working with Visit Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns.Maura Buckland - Bekonscot Model Village
Visit Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns supported us, not only with advice and direction, but also with promoting us to other members and the general public. We have shared stands with them at both the Group Travel Show at the NEC and Excursions at Alexandra Palace and on all occasions have benefited greatly from the contacts we made whilst exhibiting. As a heritage railway and registered charity, we have very limited funds, but we have found our liaison with Visit Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns to be money well spent.Les Mott - Marketing Manager, Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway
Visit Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns has enabled us to be part of a wider community, supporting us to extend the hotel and spa through print and digital channels and allowing us to network with the local community for added cross-promotions with other venues in the area. Over the last 12 months we’ve also hosted many networking events in conjunction with the team, bringing hundreds of new faces through the doors, creating greater awareness of our brand, and adding many new followers to our social channels and contacts to our database. It’s always a pleasure to work with Visit Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns.Gez Beatty - Marketing Manager, Danesfield House & Spa
Visit Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns have been very supportive of our partnership, providing opportunities for promoting seasonal events online and on social media, and pioneering group package ideas in the region that we could get involved with.Christie Lord - Head of Sales & Marketing, Hartwell House
