Famous Fine Dining Restaurant
The principal Dining Room, designed in 1988 in the style of the eminent early 19th century architect, Sir John Soane, is the setting for the imaginative cooking of our chef, which has been awarded two rosettes by the Automobile Association.
Our selections for both Bill of Fare and daily menus feature seasonal local farms and county produce, together with our own Hartwell orchards and garden fruit, vegetables and herbs to bring the freshest of ingredients to enhance all the true flavours for the dishes we prepare for the table.
Prices for lunch are from £28 for two courses (Wednesday to Saturday) and from £41 (Sunday) for lunch. Of course, no meal is complete without a glass of fine wine. To that end, Hartwell House maintains an extensive wine cellar sure to contain the perfect wine to satisfy your palate.
Hartwell House is very pleased to bring you our new Dinner menus, where our Chef Daniel Richardson has created wholesome, flavoursome and imaginative dishes in a new format style so dinner guests are able to select not only by choice but also by budget. We invite you to book and come and enjoy the dishes which we very much hope will whet your appetites. Daniel is still able to source local produce wherever and whenever possible to enhance flavours and freshness.
