Bird in Hand

Welcome to The Bird in Hand. Serving 6 Real Ales, over 30 Gins, Craft beer, Real cider and much more

A bit about us

Nestled amongst terraced houses in the Parklands area of Princes Risborough on the main road to the train station from town. The Bird in Hand is now a wholly owned free house for the first time in living memory. It was purchased by Thame based family run pub company Oak Taverns in January 2019.

Now serving over 30 gins, 4 real ales, 2 real ciders, craft beer and an interesting mix of non-alcoholic drinks alongside a delightfully eccentric tiny garden, garden toys for the kids (or adults!) to play with and 'The Lodge', our comfy sheltered outside area, you'll want to come and check us out!

We also hold regular 'street food' events at the pub, details of which can be found on our Facebook page.

Our community spirit, friendly manner and cosy décor are perfect for that nice quiet drink with your mates or your family, and especially your dog!

So whether it's a drink in the sunshine, a cosy chat, a night out with friends or you're just passing through, we'll make you feel so welcome The Bird will be your new favourite place to socialise.
