Campfire Heritage Stories

Campfire Heritage Stories

We all love a story and here in Buckinghamshire, we have plenty to tell. Chiltern Open Air Museum is renowned for telling stories about how people in the area used to live through its heritage buildings, stunning grounds and immersive experiences. On Sunday 17th October, there is the chance to hear from members of our communities whose heritage comes from further afield – China, Pakistan and parts of Central and Eastern Europe – who have established Buckinghamshire as their home.Join us at Chiltern Open Air Museum to find out about how these communities have come to be in Buckinghamshire and how they have enriched and become firmly established as part of our beautiful county.Weather permitting, the storytelling will happen around campfires adding both atmosphere and warmth!Seating will be on a first come, first-served basis and standing space will be limited. You are welcome to bring a blanket. On this weekend Chiltern Open Air Museum will also be hosting a special Wild About Wool event and your admission tickets permits entry to both events as well as the general museum.

Standard admission prices apply. Free entry for Annual Pass holders.
