Aylesbury Town Centre Partnership are planning to be able to bring you the ever-popular Christmas Craft & Gift market during this pandemic dependant on Governmental updates as of 2 December.
The event is free to members of the public and will have a significantly reduced number of stalls set out on the cobbles of Aylesbury’s historic Market Square so that both the traders and the public can be kept covid safe.
During this year, we have adapted processes to be able to run a successful market which takes into consideration trader and public safety and wellbeing by offering social distancing measures and hand sanitisation at each stall and many more traders taking contactless payments so keeping cash handling to a minimum. There will be a one-way system in operation around the fair . Stewards will be on hand to see that the day runs smoothly and keep people flowing.
The market returns to Market Square in the town centre on Sunday 6 December between 10.30am and 3pm. Visitors to the event will be able to enjoy up the festive atmosphere whilst shopping outside.
The market will offer a wide range of seasonal delights, and the shopping experience will be enhanced with live music.
Many of the items and produce on sale will be from the local area or made by local suppliers. Stalls will tempt visitors with Christmas decorations, jewellery, soft furnishings, children’s gifts and handcrafted clothing, soaps and cosmetics, candles, cheese, cakes and much more . All this will be accompanied by a selection of street food.
We’re delighted to host a free entry and covid safe Christmas gift market in Buckinghamshire.
