Chiltern Rangers is a social enterprise working with volunteers to maintain the beauty of the Chiltern woodlands and nature reserves.
Chiltern Rangers works with local communities to maintain and improve the woodlands and nature reserves in the Chilterns’ area. An example of what we do is to cut down overgrown areas to make way for flowers and plants and increase the number of insects which in turn creates a more suitable area for birds and wildlife generally. We can also be found clearing out ponds and streams and drinking tea whilst taking pleasure in seeing all the work we have done.
Individuals can join one of our half day sessions held every Thursday - meet us at Wycombe Rye Lido Car Park at 10.00 am and we will transport you to the site of the day.
We also offer excellent team building opportunities for corporate organisations to demonstrate how much they care about their local environment whilst benefiting their employees' health and well-being.
Keep fit while helping to take care of the local woodlands. Tools, gloves and hot drinks are provided. Please wear stout footwear and appropriate clothing suitable for outdoors activities and the weather. If you would like to get involved please contact us.
We often have family weekend activities too so keep an eye out on our website for future events. Everyone welcome!
