Beverley's cookery school is located in her farmhouse kitchen on the edge of the Chiltern Hills running classes for adults and children.
Beverley is a food writer (The Times, Ocado, Families Magazines), author of 4 recipe books and presenter (Bucks TV, hosting chef's stage for various food festivals, BBC Oxford) and founder of Splat Cooking Parties and her own cookery school.
Beverley runs classes for adults (Fridays during term time) and children/teenagers (school holidays and Saturday mornings). Classes range from bread making, Thai, Middle Eastern, pastry and patisserie to healthy eating and superfoods. Adult classes are held in small groups with 4-6 adults, One to One AGA workshops are also offered.
Beverley encourages children to learn about food, where it comes from, how it grows, how it’s transformed into the food we eat on the table whilst building in the science, maths, geography, history and languages as part of the fun. Beverley runs her cookery school from her 18th century water mill in the heart of the Chilterns, 35 minutes from Marylebone where she runs classes for adults and children
The school is equipped with a two oven AGA (we are one of the few registered AGA cookery schools), with induction hobs and range of equipment by KitchenAid, Magimix, Cuisinart and Kenwood. The garden slopes up to the mill pond and is a lovely tranquil setting for coffee, tea and lunch during the workshops. All of Beverley's recipes include convention oven and AGA instructions.
