Saturday evening you can continue your day out at Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway as they have a special carol evening train ride. Santas Amazing Science Experience at Bucks
Santa has a very busy weekend as he will also be at Bucks County Museum on Saturday. The Roald Dahl’s Children’s Gallery have a wonderful Christmas treat that includes a festive science show packed with tricks and experiments that include smoke, air, ice and snow.
Make a Magical Concotion at The Roald Dahl Museum
On Sunday head over to Great Missenden to the Roald Dahl Museum to make your very own magical concoction. This fun family workshop is inspired by Roald Dahl who loved the idea that mixtures and medicines have the power to transform. Children from age 4 and up can create their own magical mixture and choose what power their concoction has!
Christmas Recital with Paul Harris at Hartwell House
On Sunday evening Hartwell House are hosting something a little more grown up. Paul Harris and friends will perform a selection of popular Christmas songs and carols. Beforehand you can enjoy Hartwell’s Christmas afternoon tea followed by the recital and then to finish, mulled wine and delicious mince pies.
Festive Winters Evening at Stowe House
Similarly you can join Stowe House for an evening of festive music, reading and carols with the Brackley Chamber Music Club. Book your tickets which includes festive refreshments before the concert which starts a 7:00pm.
Nativity at Green Dragon Eco Farm
Starting on Monday, The Green Dragon Eco Farm are hosting their annual Christmas Nativity. Children are welcomed to dress as characters from the story where they will be led by the farm stuff and friendly farm animals on a journey to Bethlehem. The nativity runs from Monday to Friday where the session times are from 2pm – 3.30pm.
Cliveden Christmas Carol Concert and Dinner
Cliveden House are hosting a fantastic carol concert and dinner on Monday evening. The Queens Six who sing regularly to the Royal family will be performing in the Great Hall at Cliveden House. This very special Christmas evening will include a champagne and canapés reception followed by the concert. Afterwards you will enjoy a delicious three course festive dinner. The dress code is Black-Tie and you can purchase your tickets online.
