Midsomer Marlow Trail

A new Midsomer trail through Marlow and the Hambleden village has just launched! Covering only 17 miles, you will very quickly find yourself immersed in scenes from Midsomer Murders.

Along the trail you can taste fine food, sample local beer and wine, spend the night in a filming location, soak up the spectacular scenery, walk the Chiltern Hills of Midsomer or take a boat trip along the River Thames. The trail starts and ends in Marlow and takes in the surrounding villages of Frieth, Lane End, Bolter End, Fingest and the Hambleden valley.

You will quickly find yourself immersed in Midsomer and will be surrounded by iconic scenes from the show including Causton Library from 'The Black Book' where the shopping trolley containing £2 million ransom is switched; Chiltern Valley Winery which presented as a gin distillery for the episode 'The Curse of the Ninth' and  Lacey's Farm where the victim was found dead in the dairy! The Two Brewers pub in Marlow has appeared twice, once in the 'Kings Crystal' and again in 'Sauce for the Goose'  when the victim meets their untimely death beneath a tower of toppling relish bottles.
