If you are looking to go somewhere that is a little out of ordinary, then these two are spot on!
The Grange Restaurant which is based at the wonderful Hearing Dogs for Deaf People centre, is a unique place to spot for lunch. This innovative café is both accessible and made deaf-friendly with ‘sounds clouds’ on the celling and acoustic flooring. The menu is perfect for breakfast or lunch, serving fresh delicious food. You may even be able to sneak a peak of one of the cute puppies!
Have you ever eaten brunch in a yurt before? Us neither until we visit the Wild Strawberry Café at Peterley Manor Farm. Lots of space for the kids to run around and in the summertime, you can go fruit picking! Enjoy a tasty breakfast or lunch made using local produce, or even an afternoon tea. Don’t forget to try the homemade cakes.

If you are on the move and looking to grab something on the go, try something from one of our fabulous farm shops or delis.
Beechwood Fine Foods in Tring has plenty of tasty treats to choose from, most of them coming from local suppliers. There are also plenty of freshly made cakes, sandwiches and homemade soups to choose from. So, whether you are stopping in or stopping by, you are sure to find something delicious at Beechwood Fine Foods.
If you are looking for a hamper of goodies, then The Deli at No.5 in Thame is the place to go! Choose from a variety of meats, cheeses, chutneys and maybe even a bottle of wine, to take with you on your day out. You can even pre-order a hamper, so all you have to do is swing by and grab it before you leave!

In the heart of Amersham lives one of the wonderful Grocer Shops family. With artisan coffee and flavoursome food, The Grocer at 15 is a characterful shop offering a selection of delicious salads and a menu full of dishes made from scratch. Pop here for their all-day brunch on Sunday and try one of their tasty fresh pressed juice!
If you are looking for somewhere to treat the whole family, then head to The Works in Aylesbury or Wycombe. Indulge in the delicious sweet and savoury dishes that are on offer, from ice cream sundaes, sweet crepes to WOW factor waffles. The Works is the place to go to satisfy your cravings!
Off the farm!
Enjoy freshly prepared seasonal food from one of Buck’s farms. The Green Dragon Eco Farm’s restaurant ‘Farm to Fork’ provides locally sourced and home-reared or grown food. There are a variety of different dishes and themes depending on the time of year, but their wood-fired pizzas have got to be a firm favourite. Pick your toppings and watch as your pizza is freshly baked in their woodfired oven outside!
In a similar way Orchard View Farm also offers a wide selection of local produce. From top quality meat at the butchers, a wide selection of local cheese from their farm shop to a wide range of delicious homecooked food from the café. There are plenty of dishes and delights to choose from at Orchard View Farm. Keep an eye out throughout the year for lots of foodie events including BBQ and pizza nights and Sunday roasts!
