Tuck into tandoori prawns, sprouts and chestnuts; turkey tikka with cranberry chutney and tikka masala gravy; and date and ginger sticky toffee pudding.
At The Crown Inn, in the picturesque town of Old Amersham, Hawkyns is located within a 16th-century coaching Inn. Here the approach to Indian cuisine is simple yet executed with tremendous attention to detail, with vibrant dishes boasting incredible flavours. In celebration of the festive season, Hawkyns is offering 3 course lunch menu for £25 and two distinct party menus, (£42 per-person), featuring a selection of favourites. Think Punjabi samosas with tamarind chutney; spiced lamb seekh kebabs with bell peppers; butter chicken; dal Makhani; halibut tikka; and an ice cream sandwich with dulce de leche, strawberry and berry compote to finish. The restaurant also offers private dining for up to 40 guests, with rustic period features and a huge Inglewood fireplace, perfect for special events.
