'Tis the season for feasting so why not book an indulgent Christmas lunch, celebration dinner or festive afternoon tea? Go on, treat yourself...

Orchard View Farm

Book in for a delicious Christmas lunch between 7th and 17th December, Tues - Fri, with local produce and meat from their award-winning butchery to your plate. Choose from roast turkey with all the trimmings, crusted salmon with lemon and caper sauce or a squash, lentil and mushroom puff parcel for mains, followed by Christmas pud, a chocolate torte or spiced mulled fruits with ice cream. For one night only - Friday 10th December - enjoy all this in the evening too.

Danesfield House Hotel

The luxurious hotel and spa in Marlow are offering a festive afternoon tea in the tranquil surroundings of The Great Hall and lunch on Boxing Day (Christmas Day is fully booked). Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, a 3 course lunch and warm mince pies.

Missenden Abbey

The 12th century Medieval abbey are hosting a range of events, including Christmas Celebration Nights (perfect for parties) Private Seasonal Lunch or Dinner, Festive Afternoon Tea and even Brunch with Santa. You can enjoy their Festive Illuminations too with a magical trail through their woodland lit up with lights, lazers and projections.


As always, Waddesdon goes big at Christmas with a market, Winter Light Trail, the manor illuminated to music and for the first time, a light show on the parterre. Head to the Manor Restaurant for a festive afternoon tea and enjoy lots of seasonal foodie treats on sale at the Christmas market.

The Jolly Farmer

This stylish brasserie on Chalfont Common likes to serve seasonal menus with a French twist. They love celebrating Christmas and have a party menu including dishes such as duck leg cassoulet, roast turkey and spiced bread and butter pudding. Or why not book for Christmas Day? As well as turkey and Christmas pud, you can enjoy beef with truffle, halibut with a champagne sauce, a chocolate indulgence and mince pies, amongst other foodie delights.

Claydon Estate

You can tick off your Christmas gift list at the independent shops on the Claydon Estate, including silver jewellery makers Corzo & Wood, and then enjoy a Christmas menu at The Phoenix Kitchen. Chose from seasonal options and enjoy crackers and decorations, prosecco or mulled wine, to get in the festive spirit. Or why not book an indulgent festive afternoon tea with savoury and sweet treats accompanied by organic tea, fairtrade coffee, fizz or mulled wine. 

Peterley Manor Farm

Peterley Manor Farm's shop and plant nursery are great for picking up Christmas goodies as well as your tree but they also have a new restaurant to replace the yurt. The Barn Kitchen is full of rustic charm and you can enjoy all sorts of seasonal and locally produced dishes in this lovely new space.
