A bit about us

Set in the heart of Buckingham’s historic town center, Villiers is an elegant house built in the early 1500s. The property was later renamed Villiers Hotel after George Villiers the 1st Duke of Buckingham who used it as his local hostelry and Coaching Inn. Offering a rare balance of relaxed comfort, informal surroundings and impeccable service, the venue is the picture-perfect property for all occasions whether for business, a romantic overnight stay, family getaway or special event and gathering. Everyone is welcome!

Villiers has 49 beautifully appointed bedrooms and suites. Our stunning Ballroom can accommodate up to 180 guests and the Cellar Party Room up to 70 guests. Both these venues have their own private bar.

Dukes Restaurant & Bar is AA rosette-awarded. In our Dukes Restaurant as well as our banqueting kitchen we always serve fresh, locally sourced and inspired dishes to fuel and satisfy all your guests. Dukes Bar features an open fireplace and original cobbled courtyard.

We have plenty of complimentary parking spaces onsite. Neighbouring us are Bicester Village, Silverstone Racecourse, National Trust Stowe and the University of Buckingham. For those travelling to us from abroad, Villiers is only a 35-minute drive from London Luton Airport!

All our staff are extremely dedicated and pull out all the stops to ensure we deliver the very best service for our guests! We are with you at every stage from your very first visit to the venue until you leave. If you are planning an event please do come and see us for a tour of our fantastic venue!
