Buckinghamshire is a special county and will have a unique role to play in the hosting of the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games. We are proud be the birthplace of disability sport and the Paralympic Games at Stoke Mandeville and privileged that the Eton College Rowing Centre at Dorney Lake has been selected as a host venue.
Looking forward to 2012 our vision is to ensure that every everybody who lives or works in Buckinghamshire has the opportunity to take inspiration from the Games and that a lasting and positive impact is provided for all our businesses, communities and sports people.
