With the Chiltern Hills, the River Thames and thousands of miles of footpaths, bridleways and cycle routes Buckinghamshire is a great place for active families.
Walking
There are walks suitable for all ages and abilities, for those wanting the challenge of hills and/or long distance trails to those looking for an afternoon stroll with pushchairs and grandparents. If you would rather go on bike than foot then Wendover Woods is an excellent place for all the whole family to explore. And for those who want to enjoy cycling in the countryside but without the mud try the Phoenix Trial from Thame to Princes Risborough.

There are always a whole host of things to do in Bucks open spaces; have a family picnic, go on a fitness or orienteering trail, play wide games, watch the birds or just get some fresh air!
