Entertainment
For an evening of great entertainment plan a visit to one of Buckinghamshire’s theatres.
One of the UK’s leading theatres, the Wycombe Swan, and the state-of-the-art Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, both offer a dynamic and diverse range of performances. For a more intimate show or gig visit the Queens Park Arts Centre and Limelight Theatre in Aylesbury which offers affordable access to quality professional acts.
If all this is not enough to keep you occupied, there are a wide range of annual events and activities throughout the county, as well as a host of restaurants, bars and traditional country pubs to experience.
With its abundance of idyllic rural villages, Bucks is host to a spectacular number of traditional village pubs, which are full of character, charm and offer a welcoming atmosphere. So whether you want to enjoy a traditional Sunday lunch, stop off after an invigorating day’s sightseeing or just have a drink with the locals; your only problem will be choosing where to go. To find out about recommended pubs and restaurants or for printed guides, including the Aylesbury Vale Recommended Pub Guide visit one of the local tourist information centres.
