World Book Day Party
Thursday 3 March 3.30pm to 5.30pm
Come to our after-school party to celebrate World Book Day. Exchange your World Book Day voucher in our shop, get a treat from Cafe Twit and join in with games, storytelling and crafts.
Free admission from 3.30pm

Have junk make art!
Saturday 5 March
1.00pm to 2.00pm and 3pm to 4pm
For 5+ years: listen to extracts from Roald Dahl’s story of The Twits. Then make some skilliwiggling shadow art out of Mr and Mrs Twit’s junk, with a print to take home.
£2 per participant

Discover Dahl's Archives
Saturday 12 March
12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm
For 10+ years: a behind-the-scenes look at our archive store which houses Roald Dahl’s manuscripts and letters, with Collections manager and archivist, Jane Branfield.
FREE for Museum visitors.

Chocolate Decorating
Sunday 13 March
40 min sessions hourly from 11.15am to 3.15pm
For all ages: decorate your own chocolate bar with help from local experts, The Chocolate Source.
£3.50 per participant.

Make a Minpin tree
Sunday 20 March
1.30pm to 2.30pm and 3pm to 4pm
For 5+ years: discover the delights of Roald Dahl’s last picture book, make your own magical minpin and create a tree-house home for them.
£2 per participant

Fantabulous frames
Sunday 27 March
1.30pm to 2.30pm and 3pm to 4pm
For 6+ years: make a picture frame from recycled paper, cards, ribbons and decorations. Bring your own recycled materials or use some of ours.
£2 per participant
