Phizz-whizzing plates
Saturday 2 April
1.30pm to 2.30pm and 3pm to 4pm
For 6+ years: paint your own diddly design onto a plate to take home and use whenever you feel the need for a whipplescrumptious treat.

Sunday 3 April
1.30pm to 2.30pm and 3pm to 4pm
For 5+ years: discover the creatures lurking in some of Roald Dahl’s poems and make your own animal print to create a truly terrifying picture.

Discover Dahl's Archives
Saturday 9 April
12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm
For 10+ years: a behind-the-scenes look at our archive store which houses Roald Dahl’s manuscripts and letters, with Collections manager and archivist, Jane Branfield.
FREE to Museum visitors.

Chocolate decorating
Sunday 10 April
40 minute sessions hourly from 11.15am to 3.15pm
For all ages: Decorate your own chocolate bar with help from local experts, The Chocolate Source. Not pre-bookable.
£3.50 per participant.

Royally Redunculous Puppet Project
Tuesday 12 April and Wednesday 13 April
11.00am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 3.30pm on both days
For 6+ years: come and join our in-house puppet-maker Gemma Holland to create your very own table-top puppet. Conjure up a prince or princess puppet, fit to feature in Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes.

Thursday 14 April
For all ages: come along and meet Michael De Souza, one of the creators of CBeebies newest additions Rastamouse and the Easy Crew. Enjoy tales of the crime-fighting rodent’s adventures and meet his crucial friends.

Bouncing bunny glove puppets
Tuesday 19 April
12.30pm to 1.30pm and 2pm to 3pm
For 6+years: make your own bouncing bunny glove puppet to take home and keep. Practice using your swashboggling puppet to create a unique name and voice.
£4 per puppet

Easter basket making
Wednesday 20 April
1.30pm to 2.30pm and 3pm to 4pm
For all ages: make an Easter basket, decorate it with ribbons, flowers and chicks and take it home for the Easter bunny to fill.
£2 per participant

Chocolate Source Easter event
Thursday 21 April
11.15am, 12.30am, 1.45pm and 3pm
Suitable for all ages: decorate your own delicious Easter egg, hide some scrumptious chocolates inside and wrap it up as a special Easter gift for someone else (or keep it for yourself!).
£10 per participant.

Friday 22, Saturday 23, Sunday 24 and Monday 25 April
All day
For all ages: come and join the Easter fun and follow a trail of Roald Dahl clues around the Museum. Find all the right answers and earn a chocolate treat.
