Get out, about and active in Buckinghamshire

Get out, about and active in Buckinghamshire with the fun and adventure available across the county. Whether you want a leisurely stroll through gardens or golf courses, or the exhilaration of a zip-wire or 4X4 off-road driving, Buckinghamshire can meet your every need.

You can get the blood pumping on the high wires and zip wires of Go Ape! Wendover & on the segways trail at Go Ape! at Black Park Country Park. The Xscape Entertainment Complex in Milton Keynes offers indoor skiing and snowboarding, rock climbing and indoor sky diving, while you can watch world class motorsport at Silverstone, or even get behind the wheel yourself.

If you fancy off-road 4X4 driving, going on a segway, playing zorb football, clay pigeon shooting, axe throwing, learning bushcraft and more, then see Experience the Country, which is based on an 800 acre country estate.

For a more sedate option, visit Stowe House and Garden for a stroll around the beautiful surroundings, or add a touch of competition to your walk with a round of golf at Stoke Park. Speaking of golf, there are forty golf clubs in Buckinghamshire, so get working on that handicap!

Our beautiful country parks are a great way to enjoy the countryside, and with over 800 acres to explore there's always something fun to do. There are lots of walking routes that take you through the county’s scenic spots too.

Back to matters more energetic. Parkrun’s are free, weekly, 5km timed runs that are open to everyone. Check out those in Milton Keynes and Black Park . Get pedalling and check out those Buckinghamshire cycle routes, with plenty of cycle route maps available.
